S:US is looking for a Program Director for our Residential Services for individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
About the Position
The Program Director of Residential Services at S:US will focus on enhancing the quality of life for the people supported at your respective program. You will need to be an empathetic and compassionate leader in order to successfully lead your program and staff in continuous improvements to the quality of the program as well as the quality of life provided to the individuals we support. As the Program Director, you will be responsible for ensuring your program meets all regulatory and quality standards and developing strategies that educate and develop your team. The primary goal of this position is to effectively lead your team to provide 24-hour support in meeting the changing needs of the individuals housed in your program.
About the Residential Services
S:US is working to break down barriers and open new doors to our clients in order to help those with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live in, work in, contribute to, and participate in the community. Our Developmental Disabilities Services are 9 areas of service that provide support to each individual with four main objectives. These are objectives are for the individual to (1) live and receive services in the community of their choice, (2) build and enjoy social connections through productive community participation, (3) deepen relationships with friends, family, and others, and (4) direct their own lives and experience life to their fullest potential. Our programs and services are offered in a manner that is respectful and highly supportive, acknowledge the informed choice of each individual, and are grounded in evidence-based practice.
Salary: $64,000 / year

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 virus
- 1 year of experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons, preferred
- AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid certifications, preferred
- Valid New York State Driver's License, preferred
