S:US is looking for a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
About the Position
The Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional at S:US is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of care for residents to ensure that active treatment is provided regularly in the least restrictive environment possible in accordance with OPWDD regulations. You will coordinate and conduct regular reviews of the residents' status and progress, including risks to their rights and protection. The QIDP also ensure that services offered by the Day Program and Residential Program are integrated in routine daily activities. This role will also necessitate communication regarding residential programming with the family / correspondent(s) in conjunction with the Social Worker.
About the Residential Services
S:US is working to break down barriers and open new doors to our clients in order to help those with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live in, work in, contribute to, and participate in the community. Our Developmental Disabilities Services are 9 areas of service that provide support to each individual with four main objectives. These are objectives are for the individual to (1) live and receive services in the community of their choice, (2) build and enjoy social connections through productive community participation, (3) deepen relationships with friends, family, and others, and (4) direct their own lives and experience life to their fullest potential. Our programs and services are offered in a manner that is respectful and highly supportive, acknowledge the informed choice of each individual, and are grounded in evidence-based practice.
Salary: $50,000 / year

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Human Services
- Able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 virus
- 1 - 2 years of experience in a Day Hab or Residential program
- Experience with Day Habilitation plans
- Experience with Medicaid billing
